Cornerstone was happy to host the Henry Schein “Go Digital for Better Dentistry” hands on workshop.  Dinner and drinks were served while the presenter-      Jason Rogers shared his expertise and passed out CE credits.

The presenter for Henry Schein, Jason Rogers, has been in the dental industry for over 10 years and has the knowledge and know-how for complete treatment, in surgical and restorative dentistry through digital and CAD/CAM. Jason was engaging and quite the presenter to keep the participant active and interested. The hands on workshop started with speaking about the modern advancements that can change the way dentistry works in today’s office and lab. The attendees were able to look at some of the top market intro oral scanners to see what each one is designated to do, go over the latest and greatest in restorative materials, and how key ways to keep the communication open and flowing through the patient, dentist and laboratory. 

Once the speaking portion was over, we allowed time for an open forum, questions about the products, scanners and even our lab and how we could work for them in their offices and/or universities. There was opportune time to try out the scanners and see which ones were the right fit for the doctor, practice and/or university. It is actually nice to have several scanners there all at once, because when sales teams come to your office, you see what they are offering, but have nothing to compare it to at the same time, and having this environment, the dentists were able to compare and contrast in a way they hadn’t been able to before.

We were glad to host such a great event, meet new people in the Schein family and introduce dentists to the world of CAD/CAM from the lab point of view.
